To compare possible toxicities of membrane blue and infracyanine green in vivo by macular function and peripheral visual field.

Primary Outcome Measures:
  • Visual acuity, macular thickness and peripheral visual field

Enrollment: 30
Study Start Date: October 2004
Study Completion Date: December 2005

Ages Eligible for Study:   40 Years to 90 Years
Genders Eligible for Study:   Both
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:   No
Study Population

Patients with a macular pucker or a macular hole, without any other retinal disease

Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Macular pucker or macular hole

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Any other retinal disease
